Struggling under the sun, the workers in the brickfields carry out bricks which are spine breaking, draining almost all the energy out. Ranging in age from pre-teens to grandparents, they work long hours in the brick field. Working in a brickfield is risky and often devastating to workers' health. The brickfields are comprised the most poverty-wracked communities of India. There was no safety equipment, Stories of illness, withheld wages and other issues were commonplace.
