The idea of capturing the movement of a Kelp Gull flight over the Magellanic cormorant colony was the goal in this photo. But the tide was rising and the water was approaching to me. it wasnt easy. Marking the passage of the seagull's flight, the tide approaching me while I was standing on a rock, the correct exposure, the artificial lighting time to the seagull to get it inside the frame.. everything was related to time. The full moon coming out behind the cormorants wasnt in the plans, but was the best surprise. I only had a few seconds to resolve the photo before the moon stops being behind the birds. Fortunately, I achieved an exposure with the full moon coming out behind the cormorants and in which a seagull passed in the right place for lightpainting, to balance the composition and capture the concept of the image, the time and the nature.
