Kamondo Stairs: Architectural features and importance
Kamondo Stairs is one of the most characteristic structures of Istanbul\'s historical texture between Karaköy and Galata. The stairs, built by the Kamondo family in the 19th century, are today considered one of the landmarks of Galata in terms of both architecture and photography.
