I took this photo on a breezy autumn tuesday morning on my phone at 6 am, in Damascus, Syria as i was walking home from a party. This area is very busy during the day, small public transportation vans, taxis waiting for passengers, shop workers running around to get some equipment, and even stray cats. I couldn\'t help but notoce the stillness and quiteness of a usually busy and noisy area, while the govermental and residential buildings appear behind the fog to remind me of the nature of this area. This photo to me represents the foreshadowing for the upcoming eventful day. For me personally i don\'t enjoy busy and noisy streets and i appreciate the quietness of that time so this photo brings me peace. However some people are raised in busy neighbourhoods with lively communities and active groups, so i think, to some people this photo brings them the feelings of melancholy and loneliness.
