Mata is an ancient traditional equestrian game in which horsemen compete to seize a cloth doll known as the \"Mata\" doll while riding at full speed. The spectacle combines horsemanship, courage, agility, and teamwork in a dynamic display of skill and tradition. Believed to date back several centuries, the game is deeply rooted in the customs and cultural heritage of the Jbala tribes of northern Morocco, making it one of the country\'s most distinctive expressions of intangible cultural heritage.
