In this frame, I focused on the intersection of human movement and the rigid geometry of the urban environment. The high-contrast lighting is intentional, serving to isolate the subject as he ascends the slope, while drawing out the intricate details of the foreground textures and the crowded hillside beyond. I used the strong diagonal of the road to mirror the physical effort of the trade, turning a documentary moment into a study of form, shadow, and the persistent balance required to navigate life in a mountain city.
