In the desert landscapes of Utah, the earth reveals itself as a living canvas. Layers of sediment, carved by wind and time, unfold in waves of crimson, ochre, turquoise, and violet — a geological memory exposed at the surface.
This series moves between scale and abstraction. From sweeping aerial curves carved into the desert floor to intimate details of mineral veins resembling flowing paint, the images dissolve the boundary between landscape and art. What appears at first as a vast terrain slowly transforms into texture, pattern, and pure color.
These formations are not just rocks, but traces of deep time — the planet’s history written in pigment and stone.
