Tickell’s Blue Flycatcher is naturally a bit high-strung. When it’s time for a bath, it’s never a long, relaxing soak; it’s more of a high-speed ritual.
First, the bird perches nearby, darting its eyes around to make sure the coast is clear. Once it feels safe, it dives in for a frantic, \"blink-and-you’ll-miss-it\" splash that lasts only a few seconds before it retreats back to a hidden branch. It’ll repeat this \"hit-and-run\" routine several times, darting back and forth until it’s finally satisfied with its soak.
