Studio Portrait Photography Contest
We invite you to take part in the "Studio Portrait" contest — a space for expressive and profound portrait photography, where light, composition, and the model's gaze come together to create a complete artistic image.
We are looking for photographs in which studio work reveals itself as a deliberate exploration of form: with carefully crafted lighting design, precise tonal refinement, and close attention to the subject's character. Works in any stylistic approach are welcome — from classic Rembrandt lighting to bold color schemes, from minimalist solutions to complex multi-layered setups. We value technical proficiency, the ability to direct a model, and the photographer's vision capable of turning a studio shot into an emotional and visual story.
Accepted:
- Studio portraits of models of any gender and age, where the main focus is on the subject's image, and the subject occupies at least 2/3 of the frame
- Shots featuring other people, provided they are organically integrated into the concept and do not draw attention away from the main subject
Not Accepted:
- Photographs with a nude or semi-nude model (nude, topless, erotic content)
- Shots taken outside the studio (outdoors, in natural or home interiors)
