Ball Games Photography Contest Guidelines and Submission Rules
A ball is a universal object combining perfect geometry and dynamics of movement. In photography, it becomes a focal point around which the tension of the frame, rhythm, and interaction of participants are built. The contest focuses on the aesthetics of play: working with space, capturing the moment of action, or the static contrast of form and surroundings. Football, volleyball, basketball, tennis, rugby, handball, beach volleyball, baseball, cricket, table tennis, water polo, children's ball games in the yard — any ball game can become the theme of your shot. We expect works demonstrating the skill of capturing the decisive moment, whether it's sports excitement, children's play, or artistic abstraction featuring a spherical object.
Accepted:
- Photographs where the ball is a mandatory and key visual object of the shot
- Any types of balls: sports, gaming, decorative
- Participants of any age and level: children and adults, professionals and amateurs
- Any locations: stadiums, sports halls, courtyard playgrounds, beaches, parks, etc.
Not Accepted:
- Shots without a ball in the frame or where the ball is not visually recognizable
- Frames where the ball is present accidentally and carries no meaningful load
