Male Black and White Portrait Contest Guidelines and Rules
Portrait photography is currently one of the most common genres, but shoots involving men are conducted much less frequently than photosessions of children or women. By nature, men are less inclined to pose, and it is quite difficult for a man to relax in front of a camera lens. A person's fate in a single frame, heroism, talent — the "Male Black and White Portrait" contest invites you to capture the depth of personality through a monochrome range. The goal is to reveal the model's character through the expressiveness of features, gaze, and the play of light and shadow.
Accepted:
- Photographs of men over 18 years old in black and white
- Works featuring a person of the opposite gender, provided that the man remains the main subject of the shot
- It is recommended that the subject occupy at least 2/3 of the frame area
Not Accepted:
- Photographs with elements of nudity or erotic subtext
- Color photographs or works with color toning
