I walked down the beach and saw a mother with 2 cubs resting in our way in Alaska, USA. I observed them from a distance and decided to head back to prepare for our hike later in the day. Shortly after, our camp leader, Beth, called all of us as the bears were headed our way. As we gathered and this curious bear walked up to 3-4 ft from us. He moved up and down for a few times before heading back to play with the sibling. The bear cubs can't resist exploring the world around them. Their playful spirits lead them to investigate every leaf, twig, and scent, as they learn about the wilderness with boundless wonder. But that sure was a close one!
