I took this photo at a dumping yard where smoke hangs thick in the air and the ground is buried under what we have thrown away. In the middle of it all, birds sit quietly on piles of garbage, then suddenly lift off and fly through the haze like it is just another ordinary day.
It felt strange and beautiful at the same time. The smoke, the smell, the heaviness of the place, and yet these small living creatures moving so freely above it. They do not pause to judge the mess. They adapt. They survive. They keep going.
Watching them made me realize that nature does not wait for perfect conditions. It finds a way to exist even in spaces we have neglected. There is something honest about that, something humbling.
This image is not just about a bird over a dumping yard. It is about contrast, resilience, and life continuing even in places we would not expect it to.
