Red palm weevil [Rhynchophorus ferrugineus] [TOP100]
This is a red palm weevil, which are among the larger species of beetle and can grow as long as four centimetres (1.6 inches). Only male weevils like this have bristles on their snouts, which they use to detect signals from females. When shot very closely, the antennae can look like boxing gloves
This picture was taken in the early may morning, when the first lizards just started to Wake up after winter, and basked in the rays of the first sun. The lizard was peacefully basking by the pond and was not mobile enough, I got up to it and began to shoot, as at one point it landed on Goldeneye. The lizard waded into the water in surprise. So I managed to take a couple of shots.
The longhorn beetles (Cerambycidae; also known as long-horned or longicorns) are a cosmopolitan family of beetles, typically characterized by extremely long antennae, which are often as long as or longer than the beetle's body. In various members of the family, however, the antennae are quite short and such species can be difficult to distinguish from related beetle families such as the Chrysomelidae. The family is large, with over 26,000 species described, slightly more than half from the Eastern Hemisphere. Several are serious pests. The larvae, called roundheaded borers, bore into wood, where they can cause extensive damage to either living trees or untreated lumber (or, occasionally, to the wood in buildings; the old-house borer, Hylotrupes bajulus, is a particular problem indoors). Some species mimic ants, bees, and wasps, though a majority of species are cryptically coloured.
Microkosmos-It`s another world, which can be seen under our feet. We can discover a world of small monsters. Each fly, bee and spider is a perfect predator or a warring victim in this empire. It`s always a big surprise for me to find out how many species, forms and colors exist in this kingdom. I see the things around me a bit differently after each visit in this micro-world. I try to look at them in their own way. It`s very funny

Colonizing, this can be said in this photo, although sometimes dragonflies rarely want to perch on one branch when their type is also on the branch. because the instinct of his life is cannibalism and live alone, except when it wants to marry.
The spiked spiders (Salticidae) are a subspecies of more than 500 species described, and nearly 5000 species are described, making them the largest species of spiders in nearly 13% of all spiders. Popcorn spiders have one of the best vision capabilities among arthropods and they use them for courtship, hunting and navigation.
I photographed this beetle During my trip to in one of the rainforests of Amazon .. Cyclommatus is a genus of the Lucanidae family, also known as the stag beetle. The chief distinguishing characteristics of this genus are its impressive mandibles, which can sometimes be as long as its body, as well as its lustrous metallic exoskeleton, which can range from red, brown, green, purple, gold and a rarer blue-black. Male beetles of genus Cyclommatus are generally larger than females of the same species, and exhibit brighter and lustrous exoskeletons compared to females.
This photo was taken in Georgia. As i remember there was a sunny day, i walking in Mtskheta, near Jvari monastery. Than i saw this fly on the flower, it was very big and very attractive with his big green eyes. I took this picture with focus stacking technique.
This photo was taken at the Tucanos Trail in Tapirai / SP (Brazil). The "TT" is my favorite place to photograph birds. That day, I was with two friends, and the weather was rainy. This hummingbird had its favorite perch, and it was in it that I got this photo, the idea of the photo was to show all the beauty of the colors of the hummingbird's iriscidence, together with the drops of water that fall with the rain. For that, I got as close as possible and took several photos, until I got the one that shows the details I wanted.
Jumping spiders have always been by favorite ones. Where ever I am, I always will have an eye looking for these cute little ones. I have found numerous ones in and around my home and among them, this one in the frame below, "Jumping Spider (Plexippus paykulli) female" is the one I found the most. I see them almost everyday. Such a elegant, curious and active spiders. This click was also taken from my home, last year August. I learn my flash techniques, exposure settings and diffuser results with them as my subjects. Developing a beautiful memories with them these days. More spiders to come. For now enjoy this macro details in full screen.

Candid shot of a Narrow-winged Damselfly that I found last September 24, 2019.
Damseflies' humanlike reactions never ceases to amaze me. This, for example, looks like it was startled to realize that I can actually see it despite the camouflage.
